This morning I want to show a couple of short videos about the My Hope program with Billy Graham.
As most know, I've been advocating with other churches across the Front Range and across Colorado for participation and partnership with BGEA on this outreach. Now its our turn.
This morning's scriptures are the vine scriptures, where God warns Israel over and over and over about their fruitlessness. Jesus, in fact, made the story even more specific in his words from this morning's gospel, "the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people that produces the fruits of the kingdom."
What do you think are the "fruits of the Kingdom?"
It is abundantly clear from scripture that the fruit that God is after here goes back all the way to his first conversation with Abram. Listen to what God said: Gen. 12:2-3
"And I will make you a great nation, And I will bless you, And make your name great; And so you shall be a blessing; And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed."
Friends, we are blessed to be a blessing. What God has done for us and in us is not FOR US exclusively, but it is for the world.
My Hope is an opportunity to take the message of hope in our hearts and share it with those we love, those we work with, those we meet.
Here at REZ, we're starting this morning, to pray with intention for some names that God gives us. I want you to pray each day, keep the cards in your bible, or somewhere you will see it each day, and lift up the names listed on it.
We are planning the outreach for the Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving. Some will be gone, but many have guests coming in, or you can invite those who don't have a place to go, to come and be with us that evening. We will show the new HEAVEN program for the sermon that evening and I will give an invitation to receive Jesus Christ.
I want to watch a couple of videos this morning about how to go about this and why, and then we will end with a 1 min trailer of the new HEAVEN program. Fasten your seat belt!

I've asked our ushers to help pass out our prayer cards. Please take one and put it in your bible. As you watched the videos, names were beginning to pop into your head already. Put the names down, Begin to pray and prepare to ask them to come to the service that night before Thanksgiving.
Friends, this is the fruit of the Kingdom. Your are blessed to be a blessing and you are meant to carry to others the hope that God has placed in your heart.
Let's pray.
Lord Jesus Christ, you stretched out your arms of love on the hard wood of the cross, hat everyone might come within the reach of your saving embrace; so clothe us in your spirit, that we, reaching forth our hands in love, might bring those who do not know you to the knowledge and love of you, for the honor of your Name. AMEN.
